Explain the method of preparation of hydrogen gas in laboratory with chemical equation and diagram?

In the laboratory, dihydrogen gas is prepared by taking zinc granules in a $500ml$ flask.
To this, dilute $HCl$ or dilute sulphuric acid is added through a thistle funnel.
Dihydrogen gas is released and the gas is collected by the downward displacement of water because it is a gas lighter than water
Reaction:
$Z{n}_{\left(s\right)}+2HC{l}_{\left(aq\right)}\to ZnC{l}_{2\left(aq\right)}+H_{2\left(g\right)}$
$Z{n}_{\left(s\right)}+H_{2}S{O}_{4\left(aq\right)}\to ZnS{O}_{4\left(aq\right)}+H_{2\left(g\right)}$.
