Explain why you can hear two people talking even when they walk around a corner.

It happens due to diffraction . Diffraction is a phenomenon of bending of a wave on corners , having size of the order of wavelength of the wave . When two people talk , walking around the corner , sound is diffracted by corner and we able to hear it .
