Question

Find the area of a quadrilateral one of whose diagonals is 25 cm long and the lengths of perpendiculars from the other two vertices are 16.4 cm and 11.6 cm respectively.

Solution
Verified by Toppr

Area=12×one diagonal×Sum of the lengths of the perpendiculars drawn from it on the remaining two vertices.
=12×25×(16.4+11.6)
=252×28=25×14=350sq.cm
