Find the area of the following circle, given that: (Take $$\pi =\dfrac{22}{7}$$)
Diameter$$=49$$m.
Open in App
Solution
Verified by Toppr
Diameter$$=49$$m
$$\therefore$$ radius$$=\dfrac{49}{2}=24.5$$m
$$\therefore$$ Area of circle$$=\pi r^2=\dfrac{22}{7}\times 24.5\times 24.5=22\times 3.5\times 24.5=1886.5m^2$$.
