On comparing equation (1) with the standard equation of hyperbola, x2a2y2b2=1,
we obtain a=6,b=8e=1+b2a2=1+6436=53
Therefore, the coordinates of the foci are (±10,0)
The coordinates of the vertices are (±6,0)
Eccentricity e=53
Length of latus rectum = 2b2a=2×646=643
