  1. 35.00mA
  2. 30.87mA
  3. 34.87mA
  4. 34.87A

A
30.87mA
B
35.00mA
C
34.87A
D
34.87mA
Solution
Verified by Toppr

Here, IT=IZ+IL

Thus, the zener current will be maximum when IL=0 for infinite load resistance. So, IT=IZ(max)

By Kirchhoff's voltage law, VinVZ=(R+RZ)IT

Thus, IZ(max)=IT=VinVZR+Rz=206400+1.5=34.87mA
