Find the sum of
$$\dfrac{8}{13}$$ and $$\dfrac{3}{11}$$

Solution
Verified by Toppr

$$\Rightarrow \dfrac{8}{13}$$ and $$\dfrac{3}{11}$$
$$=\dfrac{8}{13}+\dfrac{3}{11}$$
$$=\dfrac{8\times11}{13\times11}+\dfrac{3\times11}{11\times13}$$
$$=\dfrac{88}{143}+\dfrac{39}{143}$$
$$=\dfrac{127}{143}$$
Therefore, the sum of $$\dfrac{8}{13}$$and $$\dfrac{3}{11}$$ is $$\dfrac{127}{143}$$
