Find the value of x in each of the following diagrams:

In the given figure,
$$\angle D = 45^\circ$$ (Alternate angles)
Now in triangle $$ABC$$,
$$80^\circ + x + 21 = 180^\circ$$ (Sum of angles of a triangle)
$$\Rightarrow 80^\circ+ x + 45^\circ = 180^\circ$$
$$\Rightarrow x + 125^\circ= 180^\circ$$
$$\Rightarrow x = 180^\circ- 125^\circ=55^\circ$$
