Open in App
Solution
Verified by Toppr
$$ \dfrac{-2}{3} = \dfrac{6}{x} $$
By cross mulriplication
$$ -2x = 6 \times 3 $$
By further calculation
$$ x = \dfrac{6 \times 3}{-2} $$
So we get
$$ x = \dfrac{18}{-2} = -9 $$
Hence , $$ \dfrac{-2}{3} = \dfrac{6}{-9} $$
