Greenhouse effect increases the temperature of the surface of the earth and increases its warmth, making it comfortable for living beings to grow and evolve. Also, the water will evaporate at a greater rate and clouds will be formed. Greenhouse effect is a natural phenomenon and is necessary for life.
However, when the greenhouse effect is intensified because of a very high amount of artificially produced greenhouse gases in the atmosphere, it results in global warming and becomes harmful for the earth.
