How can we control spreading of diseases by mosquitoes and houseflies?
Mosquitoes and housefly cause diseases such as dengue, malaria chikungunya, diarrhoea etc. These sit on the food and transfer the pathogens on to them. Mosquitoes so as a host for many bacteria which causes disease. For the prevention of diseases by mosquitoes and houseflies, certain things should be done:
All the food material should be covered with a lid so that it is not contaminated by houseflies.
Mosquitoes breed in the stagnant water conditions so any places where there is stagnant water such as air coolers pits sewage should be cleaned regularly and the growth of mosquito should be prevented.
Sprays and powder should be used to prevent the growth of mosquito in any surrounding water bodies.
