Solution
Verified by Toppr

In order to reach the villages, the army blasted the huge boulders that had fallen due to landslides on the motorable roads. As soon as the army got to villages, they cleared the debris and looked for survivors as well as retrieved the dead bodies. Simultaneously, make-shift camps were set up by the army and dazed people like Brij, who were looking for their family members, were given tea and biscuits. Further, army helped locals in making arrangements for the cremation of the dead. In this way army helped the people.
