How do the herbs and the shrubs survive under the shadow of large canopied trees in forest?
The herbs and bushes that develop on the ground dimension of the thick woods barely get any daylight because of the nearness of huge tree shades. They are very much adjusted to this circumstance. They make themselves ready to live with almost no daylight that gets through the edges of the canopies.
