How was Bahadur Shah different from his father with regards to his attitudes and values?

Solution
Verified by Toppr

Bahadur Shah I was not as staunch a Muslim as his father Aurangzeb. He tried many times to dethrone him and ultimately in the war of succession of the throne after Aurangzeb's death he acquired the throne.
On the other hand Bahadur Shah was a Sufi. He lived like a poor teacher and dervish before his accession to the throne. He believed that Hinduism and Islam shared the same essence.
