Question

If 8 (Ps Capital ) =10 ( Qs Capital ) =12 ( Rs Capital ) , then out of the total profit of Rs 2590 , R will receive ?

Solution
Verified by Toppr

Given:
8p=10q=12r
4p=5q=6r
from this we get,
q=4p5
$r = \cfrac {4p}{6} = \cfrac{2p}{3}
Now the ratio becomes,
P:Q:R=p:4p5:2p3=15:12:10
Total ptofit =2590 Rs.
Rs share =2590×1237=70×12=840 Rs.
Thus, Rs share in profit =840 Rs.
