At t=0 Velocity of train=v Velocity of coin=v(horizontal velocity in the direction of velocity of train) at t=t Velocity of train=v-Δ v Velocity of coin=v Distance traveled by train after retarding=(v-Δv)t When coin is thrown up it gains the velocity of train in the forward direction
Distance traveled by coin=v×t which is greater than distance traveled by train. So,the coin will fall in-front of you.
