Question

If the slant height and the base radius of a cone are 10 cm and 8 cm respectively, then find
(i) curved surface area and
(ii) total surface area. [Take π=3.14]

Solution
Verified by Toppr

Given: Slant height of cone =10 cm
Radius of the base of cone =8 cm

(i) CSA =πrl
=3.14×8×10
=251.2 cm2

(ii) TSA =πr(l+r)
=3.4×8(10+8)
=25.12(18)
=452.16 cm2
