Now according to question ,

The product of first and third number$=2400$

Therefore,$8xtimes4y=2400$

$=2xtimesy=600$ ..1

Also $9x=3y$ (both equals to second number)

$=y=3x$

Putting this value of $y$ in eq.1 we get,

$2xtimes3x=600$

$6x^2=600$

$x^2=100$

$x=10$

Putting this value of x in $y=3x$

we get,$y=30$
