Correct option is C)

$d = 1 0^{- 3} m$

$D = 1 m$

$λ = 500 \times 1 0^{- 9} m$

The width of central maxima in a single slit diffraction: $\frac{2 λ D}{a}$

Fringe width in double slit pattern: $β = \frac{λ D}{d}$

Given,

$10 β = \frac{2 λ D}{a}$

$\Rightarrow 10 \frac{λ D}{d} = \frac{2 λ D}{a}$

$\Rightarrow a = \frac{d}{5} m m = 0.2 m m$
