Let the number of houses $=x$.

$25\%$ of these houses contain more than one person.

$\therefore x\times \frac{75}{100}=\frac{3x}{4}$ houses contain single persons.

$20\%$ of these houses contain only single male.

So, the p.c of single female $=(100-20)\%=80\%$.

$=\frac{80}{100}\times \frac{3x}{4}$

$=\frac{60x}{100}=60$ p.c of $x$
