The correct option is C The boy will not grow much in height
Thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH) of anterior pituitary stimulates secretion of thyroxin by binding to the receptors of follicle of thyroid gland. This makes statement A incorrect. Follicle stimulating hormone (FSH) of anterior pituitary promotes spermatogenesis in seminiferous tubules of male. This makes statement B incorrect as damaged pituitary will not secrete FSH. GH is the growth hormone, secreted by anterior pituitary, which targets soft tissues and bones and serves to stimulate cell division, protein synthesis and bone growth. Dwarfism is caused by underproduction of GH in childhood and is characterized by perfect proportions but small stature. This makes statement C correct. Statement D is incorrect as mammary gland development is the secondary sex character and is under regulation of sex hormones secreted by gonads which in turn are regulated by LH of pituitary gland. Correct answer is C.
