Question

In the circuit shown in Fig, the current I has a value equal to
119075.jpg
  1. 1A
  2. 2A
  3. 4A
  4. 3.5A

A
1A
B
4A
C
3.5A
D
2A
Solution
Verified by Toppr

The equivalent resistances of each combinations,
For 15 ohm resistances in parallel

Req1=153=5Ω

For 4 ohm resistances in parallel

Req2=42=2Ω

Hence the current through circuit is

I=EReq1+Req2+2+r

I=105+2+2+1=1 A
