In ABC, we have

AB=ACABC=ACB
(angles opposite to equal sides.)

Again in DBC, we have

DB=DC ......... (given)

DBC=DCB (angles opposite to equal sides).

Hence we obtain

ABCDBC=ACBDCB.

This gives

ABD=ACD. [henceproved]
