From O, draw OD⊥AB AB=AP+PB=4+5=9cm ⇒AD=4.5cm In right △OAD, OD=√OA2−AD2=√62−4.52=√36−20.25=√15.75 PD=AD−AP=4.5−4=0.5cm In right △OPD, OP=√OD2+PD2=√15.75+0.52=√15.75+0.25=√16=4cm
