From O, draw ODAB
AB=AP+PB=4+5=9cm
AD=4.5cm
In right OAD,
OD=OA2AD2=624.52=3620.25=15.75
PD=ADAP=4.54=0.5cm
In right OPD,
OP=OD2+PD2=15.75+0.52=15.75+0.25=16=4cm
