Question

In the reaction :-
CuSO43H2O(s)2CuSO4H2O(s)+2H2O(v),
Dissociation pressure is 7×103 atm at 25 and ΔH=2700cal. If the dissociation pressure at 127 is X×103 atm, then 100X is__________.

Solution
Verified by Toppr

logK2K1=ΔH2.303R(1T11T2))
Substitute values in the above expression
logK2K1=27002.303×2(12981400))
logK2K1=0.5
K2K1=3.16
(P7×103)2=3.16
P=12.46×103=x×103
x=12.46
100x=1246
