Indicators are substances that are used to test whether a substance is acidic or basic or neutral in nature. They change their colour when added to a solution having acidic or basic substances. A solution of china rose turns green in basic solution and bright pink in acidic medium. So, solution 1 is basic in nature and give green color with china rose while 2 is acidic in nature so gives pink solution. So the first solution is basic and second solution is acidic
