Number of cultivated species originated in India is










A center of origin is an area geographically in which a group of organisms, first developed their properties which were distinct. These areas are also called centers of diversity. In India, around 167 species of cultivable plants originated. Indian center of origin has further 2 subcenters also.
So, the correct answer is '167'.
