Reduce the equation 3x+2y12=0 into intercept form and find its intercept on the axes

Given 3x+2y-12=0
This equation can be written as
3x+2y =12
3x12+2y12=1
x4+y6=1 _________ (1)
equation (1) is intercept on x axis & y axis are 4 and 6 respectively.
