Solution
Verified by Toppr

Total rupees=Rs.6500

Let original no. of persons=x

Money given to each person=6500x

Now 15 more persons come, so total no. of people became=x+15.

Division of money among x+15 people=6500x+15

But according to question, division of money among (x+15) people=6500x30

Division among x+15 people=6500x+15=6500x30

6500x=500x+6500(15)30x(x+15)

30x2+450x6500(15)=0

x2+15x3250=0

x=15±225+4(3250)2

x=15±1152

x65

x=50

Hence option B is the answer.
