By BODMAS rule,
$3 \frac{1}{2} + 2 \frac{5}{7} \times 719 - \frac{1}{2} \div 2$
$= \frac{7}{2} + \frac{19}{7} \times \frac{7}{19} - \frac{1}{4}$
$= \frac{7}{2} + 1 - \frac{1}{4} = \frac{9}{2} - \frac{1}{4} = \frac{17}{4} = 4 \frac{1}{4}$
