$$A: x+3=11$$

$$x=11-3$$

$$y=21+9$$

A: $$10=z+3$$

$$10-3=z$$

$$7=z or z=7$$


iv. $$\dfrac { 3 }{ 11 } +x=\dfrac { 9 }{ 11}$$

A: $$\dfrac { 3 }{ 11 } +x=\dfrac { 9 }{ 11 } $$

$$x=\dfrac { 9 }{ 11 } -\dfrac { 3 }{ 11 } =\dfrac { 9-3 }{ 11 } =\dfrac { 6 }{ 11 } $$

v. $$10x=30$$

A: $$10x=30$$

$$x=3$$


vi.$$\dfrac { S }{ 7 }=4 $$

A: $$\dfrac { S }{ 7 }=4 $$

$$S=7\times4$$

$$S=28$$


vii. $$\dfrac { 3x }{ 6 } =10$$

xiii. $$3(x+6)=24$$

$$A: 3(x+6)=24$$

$$3x+18=24$$

xiv. $$\quad \dfrac { x }{ 4 } -8=1$$

A: $$\dfrac { x }{ 4 } -8=1$$

$$x=36$$


xv. $$3(x+2)-2(x-1)=7$$

A: $$3(x+2) -2(x-1)=7$$

$$3x+6-2x+2=7$$

$$x+8=7$$

$$x=7-8$$

$$x=-1$$
