SONAR (sound navigation and ranging) is a device based on the principle of reflection of sound, an ultrasonic wave is transmitted from a Sonar towards the bottom of the sea, the wave comes back after reflection from the object (maybe a submarine), we record the total time of travelling of ultrasonic wave, now by the speed of wave and time we can detect the location of submarines.
