Question

The height of a cuboid is 18 m. Its length is 3 times its height and 2 times its width. Find the surface area of the cuboid.
  1. 5280m2
  2. 5832m2
  3. 5313m2
  4. 5188m2

A
5832m2
B
5313m2
C
5188m2
D
5280m2
Solution
Verified by Toppr

Surface area =2× (Length × width + Length × height + Width × height)
Height =18 m
Length =3× height =3×18=54 m
Width = Length2=542=27 m
=2×(1458+972+486)
=2×2916
=5832 m2
