  1. Assertion is True. Reason is also True and is the correct explanation of the Assertion.
  2. Assertion is True. Reason is also True but is not the correct explanation of Assertion.
  3. Assertion is True and Reason is False
  4. Assertion is False and Reason is True

A
Assertion is True. Reason is also True and is the correct explanation of the Assertion.
B
Assertion is True. Reason is also True but is not the correct explanation of Assertion.
C
Assertion is True and Reason is False
D
Assertion is False and Reason is True
Solution

When the moon is up in the sky, it reflects all sunlight equally. The reflected light is not scattered enough and hence, the moon appears white during the day. During sunrise or sunset, the light reflected from the moon has to travel a longer path. Only yellow, orange and red regions of the spectrum having longer wavelengths, are capable of travelling longer distances after scattering. and hence, the moon appears yellowish hue during the sunset.
Hence, the assertion is correct.
Mixing of red and green colours gives yellow colour which is mixed with blue colour formed a white colour as shown in figure. Hence, the reason is correct.
However, the reason is not the reason for the white colour of moon in the day.
