The product of two
rational numbers is $$\dfrac{18}{35}$$ If one of them is $$\dfrac{-2}{5}$$,
find the other.

two rational numbers $$=\dfrac{18}{35}$$


One of them $$=\dfrac{-2}{5}$$


$$ \therefore
\text { Second number }=\dfrac{18}{35} \div\left(\dfrac{-2}{5}\right) $$


$$\qquad =\dfrac{18}{35} \times \dfrac{5}{-2}=\dfrac{9
\times 1}{7 \times(-1)}=\dfrac{9}{-7} $$


$$=\dfrac{-9}{7}=-1
\dfrac{2}{7} $$
