The radius of a cone is 7 cm and its slant height is 10 cm. Calculate the curved surface area of the cone.

and slant height l=10cm.

Then, curved surface area of cone =πrl
=227×7×10
=220 sq.cm.

Hence, the required curved surface area of cone =220 sq.cm.
