Two ropes, one 8 metres long and the other. 12 meters long are to be cut into piece of the same length. What will be the maximum possible length of each piece be?

A] Length of two ropes is 12 m & 8 m
Finding GCF of 12 & 8
12=2×2×3
8=2×2×2
GCF = 4
Thus , maximum length is 4 m .
