Two similar equilateral triangles are placed such that one side of each triangle coincides with the other. How many lines of symmetry does the new figure have?

Given- 2 equilateral triangle having the length of side d
Now join both the triangle side by side ,we will get the figure as shown in image called Rhombus .
Now if we cut the Rhombus from both the diagonal one by one ,we will get the mirror image of each figure i.e. diagonal of rhombus are line of symmetry of the new formed figure by joining 2 similar equilateral triangles
