Let the reduced price of the radio be Rs. $x$

Then $x+7\%$ of $x=2568$
$\Rightarrow \frac{107}{100}\times x=2568$

$\Rightarrow x=\frac{2568\times 100}{107}$

$\Rightarrow x=2400$
$\therefore$ reduction needed in the price of radio $=$ Rs. $2568-$ Rs. $2400=$ Rs. $168$.
