What are the important elements of climate?
Climate is the average weather condition of 31 years. The important elements of climate are
- temperature
- pressure
- humidity
- cloud cover
- precipitation.
These elements in general and temperature, as well as precipitation in particular, are marked by the occurrences of wind variation in the amount, intensity, and areal distribution.
The variation of climatic elements is largely influenced by the climatic controls which are latitude or sun, altitude, distribution of land and water, the semi-permanent high and low-pressure cells, mountain barrier etc.
