Part-1: Land breeze
Land breeze is the movement of wind (air) from the land to the sea. Both land and sea water lose heat during the night.
Because land has a lower specific heat capacity than sea water, it loses heat energy quickly and cools more quickly than the sea.
Due to the higher temperature of the sea water, the air above it becomes lighter and rises.
As a result, air from the land begins to blow towards the sea, resulting in Land Breeze.
Part-2: Sea breeze
The sea breeze is defined as a daytime breeze (cold air) blowing from the sea towards land.
During the day, the sun heats both land and sea equally, but land has a lower specific heat capacity than sea and heats up more quickly.
As a result of the heat, the air above the land becomes lighter and rises.
As a result of the decrease in pressure, cold and humid air above the sea begins to blow towards land, resulting in sea breeze.
