A nucleosome is made up of approximately two turns of DNA wrapped around histone octamer. These are arranged around the DNA like beads on the string. On an average, about 3/4 $^{t h}$ of the whole human DNA is occupied by y nucleosome. A human DNA contains about 30 million nucleosomes. It covers about 2 meters of genetic material present in a nucleus.
