Motion:- A body is said to be motion if it changes it's position with respect to time or surrounding.
Three types of motion:-
(1) Transnational motion:- In transnational motion, a body moves in a straight line without any rotation.
e.g. Motion of train, motion of airplane.
(2) Rotational motion:- The spinning motion of a body about its axis is called rotational motion.
e.g. motion of the wheel
(3) Vibrational motion:- The to and fro or back and forth motion of a body about its mean position is known as vibrational motion.
e.g. Children playing in a sea-saw
