Chemical change

  1. Chemical changes are permanent changes in which new and different substances are formed.
  2. Heat is involved in chemical changes in two ways - either the heat is needed for the change to happen or it is released during the change.
  3. For example, when vegetables are heated they get cooked and it is an irreversible chemical change.
