What is biodiversity? Why has it become important recently?
Biodiversity is the variety and variability among living organism and the ecological complexes in which they occur. It differs from place to place and habitat to habitat. There is a loss of biodiversity due to increased destruction of habitats disturbances and degradation of habitats, pollution, introduction to exotic species and a large number of extinction of a variety of species.
Biodiversity is important as there is a dire need to conserve the extinct biodiversity.
