Tropical cyclones originate in the Bay of Bengal and influence large parts of India. Majority of the cyclones originate in the Bay of Bengal and influenced the weather condition during south-west monsoon season. Some cyclones are born during the retreating monsoon season, i.e, in October and November and influenced the weather condition along the eastern coast of India. These cyclones are normally associated with thunder, lightning and heavy shower. They may also cause devastation.
