What is the main differences between a step-up transformer and a step-down transformer ?

A transformer changes the magnitude of the input voltage. There are two types of transformer - Step-up and step-down transformer.
Step-up transformer increases the magnitude of voltage of primary coil whereas step-down transformer decreases the magnitude of voltage of primary coil.
