Ground water is the major source of fresh water in my city, but from past few years due to anthropogenic activities it is getting polluted. Waste is being dumped on wastelands in my area due to his activity with time, when the waste gets decomosed. waste material is mixed within the soil and the harmful chemicals also get mixed. With time these chemicals move furthure in the ground and ultimately gets leached into the water table polluting ground water.
