In six-figure grid reference, six figures or six digits are found. In all type of maps, we find easting as a horizontal line and northings as a vertical line which crosses each other and creates a square. By taking the number of easting and northing grids we can locate things on the map. In six-figure grid square method after getting the four figures again, easting and northings are divided into ten equal parts and both easting and northing subdivision numbers are taken out.
