We should take the following precautions while using LPG:
(i) If we feel a smell of gas, then the doors and windows should be opened at once to allow the gas to escape.
(ii) Do not turn on any electrical switches.
(iii) The rubber pipe connecting the gas cylinder to the gas stove should be checked from time to time for any wear and tear.
